About This Treatment
What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels — primarily made of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in your skin — that restore volume, smooth lines, and sculpt facial contours. As we age, we naturally lose volume and collagen, leading to hollow cheeks, thinning lips, and deepened facial folds.
At Savage Aesthetics, we use premium FDA-approved fillers including Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiesse to deliver beautiful, proportionate, and natural-looking results. Our approach is always “less is more” — enhancing your natural beauty, never altering it.
Results are immediate and can last 6–24 months depending on the filler type and treatment area.

Common Questions
Dermal Fillers FAQ
Do fillers hurt?
Most fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to minimize discomfort. Topical numbing cream is also applied before treatment. Most patients find the procedure very tolerable.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Longevity depends on the filler type and treatment area. Lip fillers typically last 6–12 months. Cheek and jawline fillers can last 12–24 months. Radiesse and Sculptra can last 2+ years.
Can fillers be reversed?
Hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvederm, Restylane) can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed, providing an important safety net. Calcium-based fillers (Radiesse, Sculptra) are not reversible but do dissolve naturally over time.
What is the downtime?
Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness are common for 24–72 hours. Lip swelling may be more pronounced for 3–5 days. Arnica supplements and ice can help minimize bruising. Most people return to normal activities the same day.
Are dermal fillers safe?
Yes, when performed by a trained medical professional using FDA-approved products. At Savage Aesthetics, we prioritize safety with proper technique, anatomy knowledge, and use of aspiration to avoid vascular complications.
